Ever mother does it....

You know when you get tired of doing the full meals of , Roast beef, Mashed potatoes, a veggie of some sort, and a dessert. For six days a week, I cook and cook and cook and cook. Three meals a day! (not complaining..just stating) So one day a week, usually when Hubby is home..we will have a simple supper. Usually planned by the boys. Like last week, we had 'we take after Uncle Brad(my brother who loves Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches)night' So the boys all had about five or six sandwiches with carrot sticks on the side. We have done 'a breakfast supper', having pancakes the works. Of course, the famous pizza night, but instead of buying the pizza..we make buy the crust and let them make their own little pizzas of their choice. My oldest, created a Broccoli and Cheese pizza. :)
So Again ending this post with a question...What do you do for the "simple supper night'?

Haven't done much

I haven't done much with my crocheting lately. Spring cleaning. Painting walls , cleaning baseboard, cleaning the basement. Fun Fun! (not really) Eventually I will get time to crochet again. But for now, Let's get cleaning!

its spring. But its funny. One day its 75 the next it snows. Seems like there's not a happy medium. I want to be outside planting my flowers, listening to the birds chirp. But I guess its really to early for that..when we are still getting snow. (BLEGH!)

Smurf pattern/bed doll pattern

So when I was a little girl..maybe about 8. My grandmother crocheted my sister and each two smurfs. We had Smurfette and just a boy smurf. I found a pattern, and as soon as I'm able to get the yarn.(please let it be next week!) I will be making some smurfs.
Grandma also made us 4 girls each a bed doll. I had the pattern book. (but then lost it:( ) I have been looking for years and years for these booklets and actually found both on eBay! who doesn't love eBay!
so looks like I will making my 6 nieces some bed dolls! :)

Its been a long time! What a year? With no internet what can you do? But I am still crocheting! Right now, I am working on socks for my boys. First time I have ever attempted do socks. But it seems pretty simple once you get the hang of it. :)  This picture for some reason was turn the wrong way! lol! the black is supposed to be on top! :| But ya get the drift!
