keep in touch

thought this was good....found in a kitchen klatter magazine dated 1970
~Keep In touch~ Take some paper and a pen,
write a line to a long ago friend,
someone you've thought of many times,
you can tell them so in just a few lines,
how often we fail to keep in touch,
with friends who always meant so much,
to be remembered means so much,
so let them know you haven't forgot,
you'll be surprised and happy too,
how soon a letter comes back for you,
just keep in touch and keep a friend,
all you need is a paper and pen!

Funny moments always to remember!

So the other day,(friday) we were coming home from a long day at the race track. Ray and I figured the baby would goto sleep after such a long day. And at first it was really quite...then we hear...'Ronnie, Roooooooonie!' So Ronnie says 'What Joshy?' and Joshy replies 'I don't know!'
We all kind of Chuckled and then it was quite again. Then we hear 'Dusty, Duuuuuuusty!' Dusty says 'What Joshy? Joshy says 'I forgot!' Again we all laughed and it went quite again. Then we hear 'Frankie, Bubbbbbbbbba!' Frankie replies 'What Joshy?' Joshy says 'I love you!' We all laugh and said Awww. Then for Jimmy, Chris and Joey ...Joshy said ' I love you bubbas!'
And it all went quite again....then we hear ' Daddy, Dadddddddddy!' Ray says 'What Joshy?' Joshy replies 'Thank you Daddy!' Then I know its my turn...waiting waiting....."Mommmmy, Mom!' 'What Joshy?' Joshy replies "I'm tired!'
For a little guy he sure knows how to express himself! And he is very talkative!

Blanket I'm working on..

This is a very simple pattern that I am making up as I go. Started as a normal granny square did 5 rows of white, then 5 rows of green. Still a work in progress. I will post more when I do more. Thinking of switching it up...We'll just see how it turns out. ~Adds

A Life of a crocheter

I crochet when I am happy, when I'm sad, when I'm angry, when I am hurt. I crochet when I'm bored, to make time pass, I crochet when I'm tired, or when I'm traveling. I crochet for friends and family, I crochet for babies, I crochet when I'm having coffee. I crochet for fun for Holidays and birthdays! I am a crocheter, and I'm proud of the work I do. Hopefully, you'll appreciate it.... its for you.

so..

I have given up on the Doily for now. Thanks to my 2 year old who completely UN-did it. So I've started on a baby blanket for a Teacher I know at the boys school. Unfortunately, I do not know if its a boy or girl. As she just found out She was having a baby in March of this year. I think she found out a week after the boys got out of school. lol. But I figured Green and White. Hoping that she will like it. But if I find out she's having a girl....I have a back up plan! Ray's cousin is having a boy in October! She's due the day before Joshua turns 3. So, if Joshua, doesn't decided to Undo the blanket...I'll be set. I will post some pictures as soon as I am able to. This doesn't have a pattern, just kinda making it up as I go. The lovely thing about your mother teaching you how to crochet when your 7 is that she will teach you the basics...then you have to figure the rest out on your own. LOL! So yes, I can read a pattern, very simple. But Mom also taught me that its fun to make up your own patterns...the only problem is that she never taught me how to write it down...lol. I'll work on that and get back to you! Have a good day! Pictures probably this weekend!
